Oatey® PVC Rain-R-Shine medium bodied fast set blue cement and purple primer Handy pack gives you the excellent value with both the Rain-R-Shine cement and purple primer included. The Rain-R-Shine cement is recommended for pool and spa, irrigation, potable water, pressure pipe, conduit and DWV applications. Made of acetone cyclohexanone furan tetrahydro methyl ethyl ketone (primer) furan tetrahydro polyvinyl chloride acetone cyclohexanone methyl ethyl ketone silica amorphous fumed (cement), with applicable materials PVC, boiling point 151 deg F, density 7 lb/gal Primer 7.7 lb/gal Cement.

Application

For PVC pipe installations

• For use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6 in Dia with interference fit
• Formulated for quick pressurization and longer working times in hot conditions
• Recommended application temperature of 40 to 110 deg F/4 to 43 deg C
• Purple primer formulated for use on all schedules and classes of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings
• Purple tint ensures piping has been primed prior to solvent cement application
• Purple primer for use in areas where plumbing code calls for verification that a primer be used
• All Oatey® solvent cement and primer products are certified to UL Greenguard gold
• Low VOC, high-performance primer meets California South coast air quality management Districts (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD method 40 requirements, meets ASTM standard F656 and complies with NSF/ANSI 61 health effects requirements
