Oatey® blue Lava medium bodied fast set hot cement is recommended for DWV repair, irrigation and pool and spa applications. It is formulated for wet conditions, quick pressurization and fast installation and is easy-to-apply with included in lid dauber. This blue, medium body, very fast setting PVC cement can be used to solvent weld all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6 in diameter with interference fit. Oatey® products have earned the trust of plumbing professionals for over 100 years.

Made of furan tetrahydro acetone polyvinyl chloride methyl ethyl ketone silica amorphous fumed with a blue finish, with applicable materials PVC, application method Brush Roller, boiling point 151 deg F.

For DWV repair, irrigation, pool and spa

  • Very fast setting blue cement solvent welds PVC, dauber included
  • Fast pressurization and joint strength development in all weather
  • Can be used on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6 in Dia with interference fit
  • No primer needed on non-pressure DWV, where local codes permit
