Oatey® fast set heavy-duty gray PVC cement is a medium setting cement formulated for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings with interference fit up to 18-in. Diameter for non-pressure and 12 in diameter for pressure pipes. Oatey® products have earned the trust of plumbing professionals for over 100 years.

Made of furan tetrahydro polyvinyl chloride acetone cyclohexanone methyl ethyl ketone silica amorphous fumed with a gray finish, with applicable materials PVC, application method Brush Roller, boiling point 151 deg F.

Application

For potable water, pressure pipe, conduit and DWV applications

  • Solvent welds PVC, dauber included
  • Formulated for quick installation of irrigation pipe and fittings
  • Can be used on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings with interference fit, up to 12 in Dia for pressure and 18 in for non-pressure pipes
  • All Oatey® solvent cement and primer products are certified to UL Greenguard gold
  • Meets ASTM standard D2564 and complies with NSF/ANSI 61 health effects requirements
