Questions

How much does window screen repair cost?

Re-screening or repairing a standard window screen starts at $85. A large screen such as a screen door is from $100, and a brand-new custom screen built from scratch starts at $120. Prices are per screen and include the mesh. Final pricing depends on size and mesh, confirmed before any work begins.

How long does it take?

Most repairs and new builds are ready in about 3 to 5 days. We give you a firm date when you drop off or send your details.

What if the frame is bent or beyond repair?

Re-screening assumes the frame is straight and sound. If it is bent, corroded or past saving we tell you at drop-off and quote a new build instead, before any work starts.

Synthetic or metal mesh, which should I choose?

For most NYC windows we use synthetic fiberglass mesh. Choose metal when you want extra durability, no-see-um mesh for very small insects, and pet-resistant mesh for cats and dogs. We help you pick at the counter.

Do you fix sliding-door and aluminum screens?

Yes. We re-mesh and straighten aluminum frames and repair sliding-door and patio screens, including spline and corner hardware.

I need a screen today. Any options?

We stock ready-made adjustable window screens on the shelf. They slide to fit the width of the opening, so you only match the height. Search the catalog for adjustable window screen.

Can I send a whole building's worth?

Yes. Supers and building managers send us stacks. Tell us how many and the sizes and we confirm the total and the date up front.
